Why is Xtremgo different? Reason #1: it's intuitive!
It's always hard to find out if an action sport activity is the one you are looking for. Mainly because there is a big asymmetry between the information you are expecting and the one provided by the organizers.
So we decided to make it more clever and intuitive! We are classifying each activity regarding two crucial topics: the adrenaline and the difficulty levels. The adrenaline level is showing the expected amount of adrenaline generated. We divided it in three categories:- Fun, for every basic activity that does not involve a big "rush". Ideal for families;
- Hot, for big sensations that involve true rushes at some point;
- Extreme, for all huge emotional experiences that require high self-control. The difficulty level is showing the physical exertion you will be subject to. We defined four categories, inspired by the skiing color code:
- Green, for the easiest activities that does not expect any physical condition;
- Blue, for medium/confirmed level that suggest to be in a good shape;
- Red, for hard level, that often expect high level of physical exertion;
- Black, for the ultimate expert level, that requires both perfect physical condition and a real experience on the activity chosen.
It may seems obvious, but people often are misunderstanding adrenaline and difficulty. Two examples:
- a bungee jumping is really extreme from the adrenaline side, as you're experiencing a huge rush! But regarding the difficulty level, it's nothing but the opposite! You have just to jump, so it's that easy!
- a high level diving experience will provide less adrenaline than a bungee jump, but it will expect a great physical condition and an accredited knowledge in the sport. Thus it will be classified in black/expert level.
